It looks like everyone is accepting this idea that we’re coming out of the pandemic enough to have festivals and conferences again. I’m pleased to see that people are still motivated to hire their favorite storyteller! It’s only February and my roster is filling up quite quickly!
Here’s a list of my current Spring/Summer projects/events:
March 3-6, 2022 — Wild Wild West Con, Tucson Arizona (Prof. Taelstrum)
March 16th, 2022 — MWCN St. Patrick’s Day Concert (myself)
May 13, 2022 — Hudson Valley Pirate Festival, NY State (Victor Maelstrum)
I will be updating this page with my Haunted Montreal (http://hauntedmontreal.com/) tour dates as I receive them.
If you want to book me for one of these tours, contact Haunted Montreal and ask for The Professor. Once I get the minimum number of people registered (10+) and we find the right date, I can give you the tour!
Also, if you want to reach me directly, we can pick the right date and make arrangements with Haunted Montreal.
I don’t know what’s going on. Normally, summer is the quiet time for storytelling, but 2016 is turning out to be super busy! I’ve already got a dozen shows scheduled, so I’m going to post them here just to keep reminding myself that this isn’t a dream!

Irish storyteller Mike Burns has been telling stories at Hurley’s Irish pub for almost 20 years on the last Sunday of each month. Normally, he would be performing on February 24th, but he’s away performing in another part of the world. I’m quite honoured to be asked to tell tales in his stead.

Happy New Year to everyone! I hope that 2013 fills your lives with happy, exciting stories. If so, I hope I get to hear you tell them!
My 2013 is off to a great start.

In an unrelated event, I’ve been toying with a new one-sheet Press Kit. It’s here if you want to see it, and if you have any feedback, please send me an email!
May and June of 2012 is going to be frightfully busy for me in terms of shows and new projects! I think at the end of the marathon, when somebody asks me for a story, I might hand them a book instead.
Judging tales at the Smut Slam on June 13th (Fringe)
And one more thing on June 5th (more about that later)!
Sorry to be so cryptic about that last one, but I’m going to my first rehearsal tomorrow, so I’m not sure what’s going to happen. All I can say right now is that it’s a new type of storytelling project for me and I’ll be on a stage that I have always dreamed of performing on (one of many places). More on that later.

Welcome to Dave's storyteller website. He redesigned it in October of 2011 and it now features its own blog, links and updates to his storyblog, his latest projects, and the types of shows he can put together as a storyteller.
If you have any questions or feedback on this site or the types of storytelling he does, please drop him a line!
